Toledo
Bend VFD Receives Grant from Advanced Financial Services and Allianz
Advanced Financial Services, in conjunction with Allianz Life Insurance Company
and American Financial Marketing made a $12,506 HeritageSM Rewards grant to the
Toledo Bend Volunteer Fire Department in Burkeville, Texas. The department will
use the grant to purchase radios and fire safety equipment.
The Heritage Reward grant was presented to Toledo Bend Fire Chief Ron Mathison
during a special event on December 10 at the Toledo Bend Volunteer Fire
Department building, located at RR 255 in Toledo Village.

“Due to a recent increase in membership with our volunteer fire department,
there is a need for additional safety gear and communications equipment,” said
Chief Mathison. “We want to thank Advanced Financial Services and Allianz for
helping us purchase this equipment and keep our volunteers safe.”
