Two Arrested in Vandalism in Fairmount

Sabine County Deputy David West has made arrests in the recent spate of vandalism that took place in the Fairmount community in the southern portion of Sabine County.

Arrested were Chase Bellett and Raymond Westcott.

The pair are charged with simple burglary and criminal mischief in a spree that saw them climb the fence at Beechwood Water and turn off valves, and ultimately water to customers; damaging doors to Fairdale Baptist Church as they attempted to break into the Family Life Center; and damage to the wood fencing along Beechwood Subdivisions I and II.

The pair are also suspects in two burglaries in Zwolle Louisiana and are being held pending warrants from Sabine Parish.
