Hungry for Breakfast?  Mary Kay’s Country Diner is now serving Breakfast 7 days a week 6 - 9am.  Your breakfast is cooked to order and the endless cup of coffee is only 50¢ . Saturday - Thursday 11am - 2pm and Friday 11am - 9pm. Friday night we have All You Can Eat fried Catfish and 8oz Ribeye specials. Tea Party in Lufkin July 4^th  

The East Texas Tea Party Movement has scheduled a Tea Party for the Forest Country area on July 4.  The event will take place at the Lufkin Expo Center beginning at 4:00PM.

There will be fun for the whole family.  Live music will start at 4:00PM and booths representing various rights will be open along with food booths.

The feature program begins at 6:00PM with speakers discussing the state of our liberty: past, present and future. 

The program ends at dark with the Ellen Trout Zoo fireworks display.

The East Texas Tea Party Movement is a grassroots organization dedicated to giving the ordinary, hardworking Patriots of East Texas an influential voice in their local, state, and national government. 

No longer will the majority be silent as their freedoms are trampled, their Constitution is ignored, and their fundamental Rights are denied them by greedy and careless politicians.

No longer will tiny but vocal 'special interests' dominate the conversation when it comes to the destiny of our nation.

Through rallies, protests, outreach and education, we will make The People the most powerful 'special interest' of all.
