Hungry for Breakfast?  Mary Kay’s Country Diner is now serving Breakfast 7 days a week 6 - 9am.  Your breakfast is cooked to order and the endless cup of coffee is only 50¢ . Saturday - Thursday 11am - 2pm and Friday 11am - 9pm. Friday night we have All You Can Eat fried Catfish and 8oz Ribeye specials. Pickin’ Palace Delays Opening

Normally scheduled to open the second Saturday of each month, The Pickin’ Palace will be closed on September 12 to support the re-CYC-le-BAL on the same night.  (See separate story)

The next event at The Pickin' Palace is on hold waiting to hear from a the manager of a very special act.  The announcement is expected soon.

Located just ½ block off the square in Hemphill, The Pickin’ Palace hosts the best entertainment in the best Texas dancehall tradition.  If you like Luckenbach, you will love The Pickin' Palace.

Featuring open mike nights, both amateur and professionals take the stage to entertain patrons in a friendly atmosphere that allows for great conversation.

Delicious food, featuring unusual recipe’s, is also available straight from the grill.

The Pickin’ Palace will reopen on October10.
